Company Registration (SECP)

How we handle it
Structure advice
We advise whether a single member company, private limited or AOP fits your ownership, tax position and growth plans — this is hard to change later.
Name reservation
Proposed names are checked against SECP's register and prohibited-word rules, then reserved.
Incorporation filing
Memorandum and Articles are drafted for your actual business activity and filed with SECP through eServices.
Post-incorporation setup
We obtain your company NTN, prepare bank account documentation, and brief you on ongoing compliance.
Documents you will need
Send what you have — we will tell you what is missing before anything is submitted, so nothing gets rejected on a technicality.
- CNIC of every director, subscriber or partner
- Three proposed company names in order of preference
- Registered office address with proof
- Proposed shareholding split between subscribers
- Principal business activity description
- Passport copies for any foreign director
Company Registration questions
Still unsure? Call +92 339 6752500 and speak to a consultant directly.
- Should I register a private limited company or stay a sole proprietor?
- A limited company separates your personal assets from business liability and is usually required by investors and large clients. It also carries more compliance. We walk through both before you decide.
- Can one person own a whole company?
- Yes — a Single Member Company (SMC-Private Limited) allows a single shareholder while still giving you limited liability.
- How much capital do I need?
- There is no meaningful minimum paid-up capital for a standard private limited company. Authorised capital affects your registration fee, so we advise a sensible starting figure.
- Can foreign nationals be directors?
- Yes, subject to security clearance requirements and additional documentation. Tell us at the outset so we plan for the longer timeline.
- What must I do after incorporation?
- You will have annual SECP filings, income tax returns, and statutory registers to maintain. We can handle these on an ongoing basis.
