How we handle it
Eligibility review
We confirm which registration category fits — company, call centre or freelancer — and what evidence you will need.
Documentation
Your company profile, remittance evidence and technical details are assembled to PSEB's format.
Application
The application is filed and tracked, with queries answered as they arise.
Tax positioning
We align your FBR filings with your PSEB status so the export tax treatment is actually applied to your return.
Documents you will need
Send what you have — we will tell you what is missing before anything is submitted, so nothing gets rejected on a technicality.

PSEB Registration questions
Still unsure? Call +92 339 6752500 and speak to a consultant directly.
- Do freelancers need PSEB registration?
- It is not compulsory, but registered freelancers get formal recognition of export income and access to sector incentives. If a meaningful share of your income arrives as foreign remittance, it is usually worth doing.
- What tax benefit does it give?
- IT and IT-enabled services exports receive concessional treatment relative to ordinary business income, subject to conditions including proper remittance through banking channels. The exact rates change with each Finance Act, so we confirm current treatment for your situation.
- Must my remittances come through a bank?
- Yes. Export income needs to arrive through formal banking channels with proper documentation to qualify for concessional treatment. Informal channels put the benefit at risk.
- Do I need a registered company first?
- Not necessarily — freelancers can register individually. But a registered company is often better if you are hiring or invoicing larger foreign clients.
